People's Artist of Russia Vyacheslav Dobrynin died in a Moscow clinical hospital, RBC reports, citing the singer's wife Irina Dobrynina.

She told reporters that her husband was hospitalized a week ago with a suspected stroke.

According to preliminary information, the musician died from acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure due to cerebrovascular accident.

Doctors tried to save the singer's life, but in vain.
