It recently became known why Russia added artist Semyon Slepakov* to the list of foreign agents.

The comedian was included in this registry by the Ministry of Justice back in April. But only recently did the media find out why exactly.

Asreported by MIA Rossiya Segodnya, citing court documents at its disposal, Slepakov* became a figure in the aforementioned list “for performing anti-Russian songs and poems.”

Among other things, the documents mentioned mention the composition “Lullaby” performed by the artist.

This is a song from the perspective of a mother who lost her son, who allegedly participated in the SVO.

In this way, Slepakov* ridicules the dying Russian soldiers who took part in the military operations, the publication cites one of the formulations in the documents.

They also reviewed a song called “No Wobbler!”

Please note: on one of the foreign online resources, the comedian named Israel as his homeland.

During his speeches there, he made inappropriate jokes about referendums in a city with a Russian-speaking population, according to the documents.

An analysis of the materials distributed by Slepakov* allows us to conclude that he is engaged in political activity, the documents say.

It also states that, according to information received by the Russian Ministry of Justice from the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, the artist “is a recipient of indirect foreign financing.”

We are talking about one operation in January 2021 and 28 operations from October 2021 to December 2022, the documents say.
