Oatmeal or oatmeal porridge has long been firmly established on the list of the healthiest foods for breakfast. And we are not talking about instant cereals - they say there is almost nothing useful in them.
If the word “oatmeal” spoils the mood of your household, it means that no one has ever offered them porridge made according to this recipe.
1. Bring the milk to a boil and pour the oatmeal into the pan. Some people prefer to boil it, while others simply cover the pan with a lid and turn off the heat.
2. But in this recipe, continue to cook the oatmeal for 5-7 minutes, stirring.
3. During this time, you can cut the banana and apple into cubes.
It would be better to peel the apple, as the skin can be very thick in winter.
4. Add fruit, honey, a pinch of salt (as a flavor enhancer) and, if desired, crushed dried nuts or berries and cinnamon. Cover and let steep.
