However, this dish has one, but what a minus - it can hardly be considered low-calorie, which is why French fries are not the best choice for those who watch their diet or are trying to lose weight.

But don’t rush to give up your favorite delicacy – we’ll tell you how to prepare a diet version of French fries that will not only be tasty, but also safe for your figure.

To prepare such potatoes you will need, of course, 1 kg of the vegetable itself, as well as 50 g of vegetable oil, the same amount of breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of paprika and salt to taste.

Wash the peeled potatoes and cut into strips. Remove excess moisture with a paper towel, then transfer the pieces to a bowl and mix, adding oil.

In a separate container, combine and mix the breadcrumbs with the spices.

Roll each potato stick in the resulting mixture and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet so that they do not touch each other.

Cook these potatoes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until golden brown.
