Let's make chocolate tangerines: an original treat for the table - an ideal New Year's dish

Sweet candies that look like real tangerines will be a great addition to your holiday table.

What ingredients are needed?

  • dark chocolate - 200 g;
  • cream (fat) - 100 ml;
  • honey - 130 g;
  • white chocolate - 200 g;
  • orange - 1/2 pc.;
  • dry food coloring.

How to make dessert

The fruit zest should be grated on a fine grater.

Dark chocolate should be divided into small pieces, and white chocolate should be melted in a water bath.

Then the cream must be combined with 30 g of honey.

The mixture needs to be brought to a boil, and then poured over the dark chocolate pieces.

The mixture must be stirred until smooth. Then the zest must be mixed into the preparation.

At night, this “dough” needs to be placed in the refrigerator, but first the container needs to be covered with film.

Honey at room temperature should be added to white chocolate. The larger part of this preparation should be mixed with orange dye, and another small piece of the mass should be combined with green dye.

The orange part needs to be rolled out into a layer and put in the refrigerator overnight.

After this time, you need to roll small portioned balls of dark chocolate, and then put them in the refrigerator for another hour.

Each ball should be wrapped in orange mass. Using a grater, you can give the appropriate texture to the "peel".

I roll each “mandarin” and need to make a depression for the future “leaves”, which need to be cut out of the green part of the dough.

Once the dessert is ready, it is advisable to put it in the refrigerator for another hour or two.
