Potatoes are an ideal vegetable for making a side dish. You can make mashed potatoes or just boil the product.
But much tastier and more appetizing are country-style potatoes, which have long become almost a “folk” treat.
The thing is that this version of cooking vegetables is actively used in restaurant menus. The dish turns out very aromatic and tasty. At the same time, even a novice in cooking can repeat the recipe at home.
If you do everything right, the potato wedges will be soft and tender inside, and the outside will have a crispy and delicious crust.
For one kilogram of potatoes it is enough to prepare:
The fruits need to be washed, peeled and cut into large slices. Then they need to be thrown into boiling water.
The cooking process should not take more than five minutes.
After this, the water should be drained and the pieces should be cooled. Then they should be evenly coated with a mixture of oil, salt and garlic.
You need to let the potatoes stand in this marinade for a few minutes.
Then the slices need to be placed on a baking sheet, which must first be covered with foil.
The slices should be baked for no more than half an hour at 200 degrees.
Before serving, sprinkle the potatoes with fresh herbs.
