How to make a "Shuba" from crab sticks: an original recipe

To prepare the beloved herring under a fur coat in a new way, you only need to add crab sticks to the usual set of products.

It would seem that there is only one ingredient, but the dish turns out to be different from the traditional version and, without a doubt, very tasty.

So, to begin with, you should boil the vegetables - 1 beetroot, 2 carrots and 6 potatoes. If time allows, cook the beets, carrots and potatoes in foil, then peel them and grate them on a coarse grater.

3 boiled eggs need to be peeled and separated into whites and yolks, and also grated into different containers.

Chop 1 red onion and leave to marinate in 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes, then drain the liquid.

Cut the fillet of one salted herring into cubes, and shave 200 g of crab sticks into thin strips.

For dressing, mix 150 g mayonnaise and 50 g sour cream, add salt and pepper. You can start assembling the salad.

Place the potatoes in a split ring, then the herring with onions, carrots, egg whites, crab sticks, half of the yolks and beets. Each layer should be greased with sauce, as well as the top of the salad, which should then be sprinkled with half of the grated yolks.
