Boiled rice is an excellent side dish, and it is also quite good as an ingredient for preparing other dishes.
However, not all housewives manage to correctly calculate the proportions in order to cook exactly the amount of rice they need.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t rush to throw away the excess – instead, use a recipe that will allow you to successfully “liquidate” the excess product.
For example, prepare a cottage cheese casserole with rice, for which you will need:
Beat eggs with sugar and salt until foam forms.
After this, add melted butter, boiled rice and cottage cheese, rubbed through a sieve.
Mix all ingredients and transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
This casserole is prepared in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
