However, any housewife can simply boil potatoes or bake them in the usual way: you won’t surprise anyone with such a treat.

But using an ordinary vegetable as a base, you can prepare an unforgettable side dish that everyone will remember.

How to Bake Potatoes with Basil and Breadcrumbs

List of products

- a kilogram of potatoes (choose smaller vegetables);
- four large spoons of refined vegetable oil;
- five cloves of garlic;
- four spoons of crackers;
- some fresh herbs;
- a couple of spoons of dried basil;
- salt and other spices of your choice.

How to Make a Spectacular Side Dish

It is best to choose miniature potatoes, as they need to be baked whole. Peel the vegetable and cook it in a saucepan until done. Pre-boiling helps make the texture of the side dish more pleasant.

Then, in a separate container, mix the oil, chopped garlic, salt, basil and spices. Pour the resulting mixture over the potatoes.

We put it in a bag, where we pour four spoons of breadcrumbs. Shake the bag well.

Afterwards, you need to bake the potatoes for half an hour. The temperature should be 180 degrees.

When serving, sprinkle with fresh herbs for flavor.
