The recipes for many common dishes are generally similar, but taking into account the peculiarities of national cuisine, they acquire unique features.
This is what happened with the Polish syrniki. At first glance, it is an ordinary breakfast dish, but on the other hand, it is a festive dessert.
1. All ingredients should warm up to room temperature. Separate the yolks and beat with sugar until smooth. Put the whites in the refrigerator.
2. Mix the melted butter with the cottage cheese and sift the starch into the mixture, add vanilla and stir.
3. Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix with the curd mass until smooth. Add the steamed and washed raisins.
4. Grease a baking pan with butter, sprinkle with cookie crumbs, pour in the curd mixture and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50 minutes.
When ready, let the cheesecake cool in a half-open oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
