You will need:

  • cocoa (powder) - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • sugar - 2 tbsp;
  • milk - 500 ml.

How to cook

1. Place cocoa powder in a bowl and mix with sugar to form a smooth dry mixture.

2. Heat the milk in a suitable saucepan, without bringing it to a boil, and pour a small amount into a cup.

3. Stir to make a thick and concentrated mixture. Stir until all lumps are dissolved.

4. Pour the concentrate into the saucepan with the milk and cook, stirring, until foam appears, about 7-10 minutes.

What to add to cocoa

Option one: lemon juice

Not the most common combination, but cocoa will open up in a new color and taste. A couple of drops of lemon juice are enough for one cup.

Option two: vanilla and cinnamon

A pair that has become a classic combination. You can use vanilla sugar, and cinnamon, either ground or sticks.

Option three: salt

This is a well-known flavor enhancer. You can add a small pinch of salt per cup. Salt will make the cocoa taste richer.

Option four: hot pepper
