Few housewives can boast of pumpkin dessert recipes. However, you can literally make anything from this versatile vegetable, even marshmallows.
For flavor, you can add any citrus fruits, oranges for example.
1. Bake the pumpkin pulp in the oven (180 degrees) for 20-30 minutes, and when it cools, grind it into a puree and rub through a sieve.
2. Dissolve agar-agar in water, stir, heat over medium heat and add sugar. Bring to a boil and wait until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Add pumpkin puree, cook for 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
4. Beat the egg whites until a thick foam forms and pour in the hot syrup in small portions, without stopping beating.
5. Beat the mixture until it becomes thick and heavy.
We transfer the mixture into a pastry bag (syringe), form the marshmallow and leave it to dry on the table.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar (you can mix 1/1 with starch) and serve.
Bon appetit!
