Olivier salad occupies a special place in our culinary tradition.
Many have managed to achieve perfection in matters of its preparation. However, the famous dish has a noticeable competitor - "Masherovsky" salad. It is believed that its fan was a famous politician, in whose honor it was named.
- 2 pieces of boiled fillet;
- 2 large boiled eggs;
- 2 medium-sized boiled potatoes;
- 1 onion;
- one boiled carrot;
- 300 grams of mushrooms (it is better to take champignons);
- 3-4 pickled cucumbers;
- a third of a glass of mayonnaise (a little more is possible);
- salt and pepper to your taste.
After you have boiled the main ingredients, it will take time for them to reach a comfortable temperature. During this time, you can fry the mushrooms and onions until fully cooked.
Cut the chicken, potatoes, cucumbers, eggs and carrots into neat cubes, the size of which should not exceed one centimeter.
We lay out the boiled components. Next come the fried mushrooms with onions. We bring the components to a homogeneous state, use pepper and salt.
Before serving, use mayonnaise as a dressing.
