Sometimes there is so much mashed potatoes that you can't eat the whole dish at once.
You have to leave the food for the next day. But the problem is that the reheated side dish is no longer as appetizing as before.
In such a situation, many gourmets have a desire to prepare some other dish from yesterday's puree.
Usually we are talking about a casserole. But why not experiment and make sandwiches from the side dish?
First, you need to make two spreads. The first one will include the cooled puree.
Place 200 grams of potato mixture in a deep container, add one raw egg, a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise and chopped green onions. Season with pepper and mix thoroughly.
In the second bowl, combine 100 grams of hard cheese with three tablespoons of mayonnaise. You can also add herbs and a little ground pepper.
Spread both mixtures on the bread slices (potato spread on the bottom, cheese spread on top). As a result, two layers should appear.
In this form, the sandwiches should be placed on a baking sheet and placed in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
The result will be an incredibly appetizing dish.
