Homemade food is considered healthier than that sold in fast food or other snack bars and eateries.
And when you want the shawarma to be the same as in a public catering establishment, you also need to prepare the appropriate sauce. This is not as difficult as it may seem.
The simplest option is to mix sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, spices and parsley. Turkish cooks do it differently.
You don't need to cook almost anything. First, you need to mix mayonnaise and sour cream.
Then add crushed walnut kernels and garlic passed through a press.
Fresh herbs should be finely chopped and added to the future sauce.
Then the base needs to be beaten for several minutes, after which you can add adjika and a mixture of spices.
Stir the sauce and let it sit for 30-60 minutes, after which you can start preparing the shawarma.
Bon appetit!
