Olivier salad is considered a traditional holiday salad. It is unlikely that any of the guests will refuse a tasty, tender and filling dish.
However, the problem is that the dish takes quite a long time to prepare.
The most time-consuming part is boiling potatoes and carrots. Cutting the numerous ingredients is also a lengthy process.
What should a hostess do if she wants to please her guests with a delicious salad, but doesn’t have time to make Olivier?
In such a situation, it is worth preparing a simpler, but no less appetizing dish.
You will only need to boil the eggs. All other ingredients are already prepared. And you won't need to cut up many products.
You need to take a can of canned tuna and remove the contents of the container into a deep bowl.
It is desirable that the fish is already chopped. Then you will not have to waste time kneading the product.
Next, add half an onion cut into cubes, the contents of a can of corn (without water), and cubes of pickled cucumber to the bowl. Greens wouldn't hurt either.
The final main ingredient should be boiled eggs. You need to chop four of them.
The resulting mass should be seasoned with mayonnaise. If desired, the salad can be slightly salted and peppered.
It will take a maximum of a quarter of an hour to prepare this dish. However, the dish will be no less delicious than the famous Olivier salad.
