Fish can be grilled, fried in a pan and marinated. Mackerel can also be baked with lemon in the oven. Using foil simplifies the cooking process.

The list of products consists of:
1. First, prepare the fish: cut off the heads, gut, rinse thoroughly and dry with a paper towel.
2. Cut the lemon into thin slices. Peel the onion and cut into rings.
3. Next, take a sheet of foil the size of the fish. Put the mackerel on it. Salt and pepper the fish – both outside and inside. Sprinkle with vegetable oil.
4. Make several transverse cuts. Place lemon slices in them, and distribute onions around the fish.
5. Then the mackerel is wrapped in foil on all sides.
6. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Bake the fish for about 30 minutes.
For best results, cooks recommend using fresh mackerel. A dish made from frozen fish will not be as juicy and tasty.
