How to Make Baked Potatoes with Cheese: A Simple Recipe for a Delicious Side Dish

Potatoes prepared according to this recipe can be served with any sauce or as a side dish for baked or fried meat.

The butter will infuse the potatoes with the aroma of garlic and dill, and the cheese will harmoniously complement the rich taste.

Ingredients

The list of products consists of:

  • potatoes – 7 pcs.;
  • cheese (hard) – 80 g;
  • butter – 30 g;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • dill – 50 g;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp;
  • black pepper (ground) and salt.

How to prepare a side dish

1. Peel and wash the potatoes and pierce them with a toothpick 4-5 times. Then the tubers are salted, peppered and greased with vegetable oil.

2. Place the potatoes in a deep baking tray, cover tightly with foil. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and cook the vegetable for 40-50 minutes until fully cooked.

3. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, chop the dill, and press the garlic. Add soft butter and mix.

4. Remove the baked potatoes from the oven but allow some time to cool. Then use a knife to make crosswise cuts, not reaching the edges of the potatoes.

5. Fill the potatoes with the filling and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for 3-5 minutes. This time is enough for the cheese to melt and the butter to soak the tubers.
