Chicken thighs are an ideal option for a hearty meal for lunch or dinner that will be appreciated by both family members and guests.
Meat and side dish cooked in one pan saves time and uses a minimum of utensils.
The list of products consists of:
1. First, wash the chicken thighs and then dry them. Then rub them with salt, black pepper, paprika and olive oil. The thighs should marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. Cut the onion and mushrooms into half rings, and the carrots into thin slices. Cut the bell pepper and tomatoes into large pieces, and grate the garlic on a fine grater.
3. Place a deep frying pan on the fire and heat up the vegetable oil. Fry the marinated thighs on both sides over medium heat. A golden crust should appear. Then place the meat on a plate.
4. In the pan in which the thighs were cooked, fry the onions and carrots. Sauté the vegetables for 5 minutes, then add the peppers and mushrooms and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Lastly, add tomatoes, garlic, tomato sauce, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Next, place the thighs on top of the vegetables and mushrooms. From this point on, cook the dish for 20 minutes over medium heat.
6. Sprinkle the prepared thighs with herbs. If desired, the dish can be supplemented with grated cheese.
