As you know, tea is usually served either without any additives, or with an “additive” in the form of sugar or lemon.

Today we will hasten to share with you a recipe for making tea with an additive that is not so common in our area: milk.

To do this you will need:

  • bagged or loose leaf freshly brewed tea (the main thing is that it is of good quality);
  • milk (look for one that states at least 2.5% fat);
  • sugar/spices to taste.

First, brew the tea in the traditional way - pour boiling water over the cup, add a teaspoon of tea leaves and brew with fresh boiling water.

After a few minutes, when the drink has steeped, add milk to the cup – 2-3 tablespoons, maybe more, and sugar – as much as you think is necessary.

Speaking of spices, cardamom makes an excellent combination with this drink.

In a teapot filled with freshly brewed tea, add whole or ground cardamom, 1-2 cloves, a piece of cinnamon or a pinch of the same spice, but in powder, 0.5-1 teaspoon of ginger.

In this case, it is essential to add sugar – at least 1 teaspoon per cup.
