This cheese sauce is easy to make at home and can easily beat store-bought.
It is ideal for almost any appetizer, as well as pizza. The sauce will complement both hot and cold dishes, and will also become an ideal spread for bread.
Products:
1. Place butter and grated garlic in a saucepan. Sauté the ingredients over low heat for 1 minute. It is important that the garlic does not turn black or golden.
2. After a minute, add flour, stir and heat for another 1 minute, then pour in 60 ml of cream.
3. Heat the ingredients for a couple of minutes, then add the cheese pieces. The process is accompanied by constant stirring.
4. Then gradually pour in the cream in equal parts and add all the cheese. Do this in 3 stages. Keep the saucepan on the stove until the cheese melts.
5. When the cheese reaches the desired condition, remove the saucepan from the heat, add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Homemade cheese sauce can be served hot or cold. The finished product is stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for no more than 10 days.
