The pudding is steamed, so it can be included in the diet even for people with gastrointestinal diseases.

Those who simply adhere to a healthy diet, but really love sweet treats, will also appreciate the recipe.

Ingredients

For the pudding:

  • cottage cheese (1% fat) – 180 g;
  • chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • semolina – 2 tablespoons;
  • honey – a tablespoon;
  • salt - a pinch.

How to Make Applesauce Pudding

1. First, prepare the apple: remove the core without cutting all the way through to form a "well". Stick toothpicks into the apple on all four sides, and then pour honey into the hole.

Then the fruit is placed in a small baking dish and placed in the oven (180 degrees) for 30 minutes.

2. While the sauce is cooking, mix the pudding base. Combine the cottage cheese, egg, semolina, honey and salt. Mix the ingredients until smooth.

3. Sprinkle the baking dish with water, then lay out the curd mixture. Place the dish in a deep baking tray, pour in hot water so that it is immersed by two-thirds. Put in the oven and bake until done (≈25-30 min.).

4. When the apple is baked, continue preparing the sauce. Remove the fruit from the oven and peel it. Beat the pulp and juice with a whisk.

5. Serve the dessert warm, drizzled with apple sauce.
