It won’t harm your figure, it’ll surpass store-bought sauce and it’ll go well with all popular dishes – all this is about the sauce that you can make at home.
The culinary chores will take half an hour, but you will have a sauce on hand that will make both everyday and holiday dishes even better.
To prepare a sauce that goes well with meat, chicken, and fish, you will need:
1. Place the tangerines in a saucepan and squeeze out the juice. Add sugar and carefully melt it over low heat.
2. When caramel forms in the pan, add cranberries and pour in a little port wine. Cook the resulting mixture for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
3. After a quarter of an hour, remove the sauce from the heat. After cooling, it will acquire the desired consistency.
This sauce is usually prepared in winter for festive dishes, especially for baked poultry or meatloaf. But you can make it in advance, seal a couple of jars, and use it whenever your heart desires.
