What to cook with potatoes and mushrooms: tasty and lean

On fasting days you want something tasty, and in this case it is not necessary to break the established rule.

Here is a completely acceptable option that will be appreciated by all household members and no one will reproach the cook for asceticism. Save the recipe for potato casserole with mushrooms.

To prepare you will need:

  • potatoes (large) - 5-6 pcs.;
  • mushrooms 200-500 g (fresh or frozen);
  • 1 large red bell pepper;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce;
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce;
  • 1 tsp sugar;
  • vegetable oil, spices, salt.

How to cook

Peeled potatoes should be boiled in boiling water with salt until done.

You need to leave about 100-150 ml of potato broth, the rest can be poured out.

Add 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the potatoes and water and prepare a puree.

Then mix tomato and soy sauce, sugar and vegetable oil (2 tbsp), add salt and spices.

Now the mushrooms. They are cut into medium-sized cubes, fried with onions, and then sweet pepper is added.

When all the moisture has evaporated from the pan with mushrooms, add tomato sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

The baking dish is treated with vegetable oil and first the mushrooms and vegetables are laid out, and then the mashed potatoes.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve the casserole hot.
