Draniki is a simple recipe, except that you have to work hard with the potatoes.

Next, if you follow the classic recipe, you need to grate the onion. This will prevent the potatoes from darkening and will add some variety to the flavor palette.
But culinary enthusiasts recommend adding one or two spoons of sour cream to the mixture instead of grating the onion.
The potatoes will remain exactly the same light color, but the taste of the potato pancakes will change for the better. But before adding sour cream, do not forget to drain off the excess liquid.
