Such a healthy fruit as pomegranate contains a large number of useful components, vitamins and microelements.
Signs such as smooth and shiny skin, as well as large size and heavy weight will help you choose a good fruit.
But peeling the fruit and getting to the valuable contents is not so easy.
First, use a sharp knife to cut off the top and bottom of the pomegranate. Then make several vertical cuts.
Now the fruit should be lowered into water and left there for 4-5 minutes, after which you can begin to disassemble the fruit into sections and separate the grains from the membranes.
All that's left to do is collect the peel that floats to the surface of the water with your hands.
Once this step is completed, all that remains is to throw the grains into a sieve and wait for the water to drain.
Dry the grains a little and you can use them for their intended purpose.
