An outdated opinion states that chicken liver is extremely healthy, and that it is not possible to make a truly tasty dish from it.

Only those cooks who have not used one sauce during cooking think so. It is easy to prepare, but the result exceeds all expectations.

Thanks to it, chicken liver turns out tender and aromatic. The appetizing smell will gather the whole family at the table, you won’t have to call anyone.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver – 0.5 kg;
  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • carrots – 1 pc.;
  • butter – 1 tbsp;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp;
  • sour cream (20% fat) – 1 cup;
  • milk – 1 glass;
  • salt and favorite spices.

Preparation

1. First, soak the liver in milk for 15-20 minutes.

2. While the main ingredient is soaking, chop the onion and cut the carrot into cubes. Fry the vegetables in butter.

3. Remove the liver from the milk and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.

4. Add vegetable oil to the frying mixture, then put the liver in. After 2-3 minutes, pour milk into the frying pan, add sour cream.

5. Stir the contents of the pan occasionally and cook for 10-15 minutes. Finally, all that remains is to add spices, garnish with herbs and serve with any side dish.
