According to doctor Anthony Youn, sleeping naked can be dangerous - both for the sleeper and for the person lying in bed next to him.
The reason is that even during sleep, the human body produces gases and a small amount of feces.
In his opinion, these secretions, along with bacteria from the intestines, can remain on the bed if a person sleeps without underwear.
And it is true - our excretory system continues to produce feces even when we dream, and some of it actually comes out, even if it remains unnoticed by us.
The same thing happens with intestinal gases.
However, according to recent studies, bacteria present in intestinal gases do not pose a danger to our body.
But, even though it is not fatal, it is unlikely that anyone would like to introduce bacteria into their body that have recently left it.
For this reason, to be on the safe side, it is better to follow your doctor's advice and sleep in your underwear.
