Manicure is a pleasant procedure that allows you to admire neat nails and well-groomed hands for a long time.

But such a procedure must be treated with maximum responsibility. It is necessary to ensure that all hygiene standards are observed, and also not to use ultraviolet lamps in the process.

Oncologist Alexander Seryakov spoke about this in more detail.

First of all, such lamps are harmful to people with sensitive skin, children and teenagers, and also to those who have pigmented nevi.

People with eczema, psoriasis and other skin diseases should also avoid such lamps.

In cases where the skin is really too sensitive, such light leads to itching, peeling or redness.

“When getting a manicure, such people should be careful - this type of reaction to ultraviolet light is associated with an increased risk of developing skin cancer,” Gazeta.Ru quotes the doctor as saying.

In addition, such a reaction can be caused by medications or special cosmetics. In the latter case, we may be talking about adding musk or orange oil to the composition.
