In November, a number of innovations will be in effect for Belarusian motorists.
And don’t forget about the need to pay the transport tax before November 15th.
You can pay it (the tax is included in the property payment, as well as taxes on land and real estate) through ERIP, at the post office, at an information kiosk, at a bank branch, or through the payer’s personal account.
Second: from November 1, Latvia banned the movement of cars with Belarusian license plates (with a capacity of less than 10 people) on its territory.
Violators face confiscation of their vehicles.
Earlier, the authorities of this country obliged owners of cars with Belarusian license plates to take them out of Latvia or re-register them by October 31. Otherwise, they will be confiscated.
After October 31, Belarusian cars are allowed to enter the Baltic republic only for a single transit crossing of the country.
To do this, you need to contact the Road Safety Directorate of Latvia.
Third : from November 1, drivers, dispatchers and carriers whose information is not included in the register of irregular carriers cannot be engaged in passenger transportation in Belarus.
Fourth : it is expected that by November 7, a 15-kilometer section of the M3 highway (Minsk-Vitebsk) will be opened – from Logoisk to Pleshchenitsy.
The section of the highway from the 41st to the 56th kilometer has been widened - four lanes of cement concrete pavement have appeared.
A new bridge across the Gaina River, two overpasses, and two underground crossings were also built there.
Fifth: November is the last month to "change" your car to winter tires. From December 1 to March 1, we drive exclusively on these.
Violators may be warned or fined 40 rubles. Repeated violations may result in a fine of 80 to 200 rubles.
Sixth : from November 1, the traffic police registration departments switched to the winter schedule for vehicle inspections.
Until March 1, they will work from nine in the morning, and not from eight as in the summer.
