In order to verify the fact of conclusion of MTPL contracts and combat insurance fraud, the operator of the AIS insurance will exchange information about concluded MTPL contracts in real time with the internal affairs agencies, customs authorities and the professional association of insurers (including foreign ones) when drivers cross the Russian border.

This also applies to information on insurance compensation payments under contracts for damage caused as a result of a traffic accident.
