From December 1, the car must be equipped with winter tires.
The Beltekhosmotr UP reminded us of this.
Beltekhosmotr reminded that from December 1 to March 1, cars must be equipped with winter tires. They must be installed on all wheels.
This applies to vehicles with a technically permissible total weight of up to 3.5 tons inclusive, passenger cars and cargo-passenger vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons, and buses weighing up to 5 tons.
According to paragraph 5.6.3 of Appendix No. 8 of TR CU 018/2011, in accordance with which vehicles are monitored during technical inspection, a winter tire is unsuitable for use if the remaining tread depth is no more than 4 millimeters (in the absence of wear indicators).
Beltekhosmotr noted that the presence of a technical inspection is now automatically controlled by road cameras.
The company noted that 132,320 permits for participation in road traffic were issued in October. This is 11.5% more than in October last year.
Last month, 104,984 permits were issued to individuals – 79.3% of the total number.
Over the first 10 months of this year, 1,281,777 permits were issued, which is 3.2% less than in January-October 2023.
Last month, 1,066 permits were issued for electric vehicles (12,034 since the beginning of the year).
Beltekhosmotr also reminded that with the help of the GTO.BY mobile application you can check the validity period of the permit, schedule a technical inspection, pay for services and administrative procedures, etc.
