Belarus records significant growth in electric car sales
In the last month of the now forgotten autumn of 2024, Belarus recorded a significant increase in sales of electric vehicles.
And in general, as experts say, the passenger car sales market showed “calm growth” at the end of November.
In particular, the Belarusian Automobile Association made such a statement .
As the member of the board of directors of BAA, the general director of BelGee Gennady Svidersky said, in comparison with October, November sales of passenger cars in the country “demonstrated calm growth.”
The total increase was 633 units, which is equivalent to 12.7%, the report says.
However, among electric vehicles, significant growth was recorded – by 187 vehicles or plus 41.6%.
The increase in sales volumes provides conditions for opening new dealerships for sales and service of passenger cars in the country.
In addition, this trend contributes to the development of infrastructure for the operation of electric cars, the statement emphasizes.
