Algorithm of actions in case of accidents with wild animals: important for every driver to know
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate calls on drivers to be extremely careful when driving on roads that run through forests, especially in the evening and morning twilight, when wild animals are especially active.
The State Traffic Inspectorate also calls on drivers to pay attention to the “Wild Animals” sign.

Algorithm of actions in case of accidents with wild animals
It is necessary to mark the accident site with an emergency stop sign, call the traffic police and remain at the scene.
The State Traffic Inspectorate will notify the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President.
Its staff, a veterinarian and a representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection will also arrive at the scene of the accident.
It is strictly forbidden to approach a downed animal; in a state of shock, it can maim or even kill anyone who approaches.
It is also forbidden to take away a hit animal. In this case, the driver's actions will be considered illegal hunting, which is fraught with criminal liability.
