Failure to give way to pedestrians entails administrative liability in the form of a fine.
The minimum fine is 40 rubles, the maximum is 200.
The press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Minsk reminded about this in Telegram.
In accordance with the Traffic Regulations, pedestrians have the right of priority to cross the roadway at a regulated pedestrian crossing/bicycle crossing when the traffic light or traffic controller gives a green light.
Pedestrians also have the right of way to cross the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing/bicycle crossing.
Violation of this traffic regulation entails administrative liability in the form of a fine.
The fine ranges from one to five basic units, i.e. from 40 to 200 rubles.
